Residential Parking Policy

Step 1 - Confirm you reside in the boundaries listed below to apply for one of the four Residential Parking Permit Districts.

Step 2 - Be ready to attach required proofs of residency to complete the process - Residential Documentation (PDF)

South Ybor City

Bound by 6th Avenue by the North, Nick Nuccio Parkway and North 13th Street by the West, Adamo Drive by the South, and North 21st Street by the East.

Bound by 12th Avenue by the North, Palm Ave by the South and 21st Street by the East, and 18th (Angel Oliva Senior) St on the West.

Channel District

To include the property addresses listed in the 100 and 200 block of North 12th Street, and the 100 and 200 block of South 12th Street.

Courier City / Oscawana

In the area of Kennedy Blvd by the North., but excluding Kennedy Blvd; in the area of Swann Ave by the South, but excluding Swann Ave; in the area of Armenia Ave to the West, but excluding Armenia Ave; Fremont Ave to the East; 100 block of South Packwood Ave. Also to include 600 block of South Rome Ave.

Ordinance 2010-130 amending City Code Chapter 15 - Oscawana and Courier City Residential Parking (PDF)

Under the guidelines of these programs, the City offers the following types of parking permits for use within a residential parking permit zone:

Residential Permit and Residential Guest Permit  - One (1) permit each per residential address. Eligible for one additional permit per address provided no off-street parking assigned to that residential address.

Residential Business Permit - Four (4) permits per residential business address for use during restricted hours.

Please allow 3 to 5 business days for processing of all Residential Parking Permits.
