09:05:17 >>GWEN MILLER: Good morning.

09:05:19 We will now open our meeting for the CRA.

09:05:20 I am going to yield to Mr. Charlie Miranda.

09:05:23 >>CHARLIE MIRANDA: It's my pleasure this morning to

09:05:25 introduce a young lady whose family has been here for

09:05:28 over 130 years.

09:05:31 Not her.

09:05:32 Let me specifically say that.

09:05:37 But the family has been here for a long, long time,

09:05:39 when the businesses in Ybor City were a little

09:05:41 different than they are today.

09:05:42 You know, as the world goes around, things come back

09:05:46 how they originally were.

09:05:48 When that family was there, and they started business

09:05:51 about 95 years ago, they are no longer in business with

09:05:57 the change in the economy and so forth.

09:05:58 But we had street cars that went all over the city.

09:06:02 And that's when you used to go to the fish market and

09:06:04 say, I want that fish or that fish, and you would

09:06:07 actually go to the chicken place and say, which chicken

09:06:12 you wanted to buy.

09:06:14 And they weren't processed.

09:06:16 They were nothing.

09:06:17 Just like you see them in the wild.

09:06:19 And she has done an outstanding job where she's working

09:06:24 at.

09:06:27 She was a very good tennis player as youth and she

09:06:32 still does play tennis, and the family has been here

09:06:36 for a long, long time.

09:06:37 It's my pleasure to introduce Stephani Agliano who is

09:06:41 going to say the invocation this mourning.

09:06:43 Please rise for the invocation, remain standing for the

09:06:46 pledge of allegiance.

09:06:47 >> Thank you.

09:06:48 Good morning, Chairman Scott, council members.

09:06:51 Councilman Miranda, thank you very much.

09:06:54 I would like to start out just by saying that in a

09:06:56 world where there's so many rules and regulations, it

09:06:59 nice to know that there's not a right or wrong place to

09:07:02 pray or right or wrong way to pray.

09:07:04 So I ask everyone to join me however they see fit this

09:07:07 morning for this morning's invocation.

09:07:10 Dear God, good morning.

09:07:12 Thank you for another beautiful day.

09:07:13 We are grateful to live in such a wonderful city that

09:07:16 has so much to offer.

09:07:17 I know you know the details.

09:07:20 Hey, if anyone asks you how things are going for you, I

09:07:26 doubt we are meeting expectations so thank you for your

09:07:28 patience.

09:07:28 We ask you for your guidance and love to help us get

09:07:31 back on track.

09:07:32 Maybe you can help us get started by granting us a

09:07:34 large dose of integrity.

09:07:37 Help us to realize that it's no coincidence that the

09:07:40 two main components of integrity, morals and ethics and

09:07:45 the letters of these words begin with mean that

09:07:47 integrity begins with me as it should with every single

09:07:50 one of us.

09:07:51 We also seem to be running low on respect for others.

09:07:54 Forgive us for forgetting that in your creative genius

09:07:57 are making us all individually unique, the one thing we

09:08:01 all are is equal.

09:08:03 God, we thank you for your unconditional love and pray

09:08:05 you don't give up on us just yet.

09:08:09 Please bless this wonderful day and guide our

09:08:11 leadership to make the best decisions for our

09:08:13 community, and thank you always for listening.

09:08:15 Amen.

09:08:15 (Pledge of Allegiance)

09:08:51 Ed Johnson.

09:08:52 Do you want to say something or just pass the

09:08:53 resolution or what?

09:08:54 >> Ed Johnson, East Tampa urban development manager.

09:09:03 I would just like to enter into the record a memorandum

09:09:09 from chairman Benjamin best of our advisory committee,

09:09:18 what is being presented to you this morning is at the

09:09:20 advisory of the advisory committee.
