Mayor Buckhorn gave his frinal Republican National Convention media briefing on Friday, August 31. Here's a snapshot of the event by the numbers:

  • Total number of RNC Related Arrests: 2
  • Total Number of Law Enforcement/Safety Officials on the Street: 3,500-4,000 from 60 local, state and federal agencies
  • Total Number of Heat Related Incidents: 5
  • Total Number of Gallons of Water Handed Out by Salvation Army: 26,628
  • Total Number of Minutes the Mayor Bob Buckhorn Spoke at the Convention: 3
  • Total Number of Calls to the Call Center: 1,556
  • Total Impact on the Tampa Bay Area: PRICELESS
 

Agua Luces Lights Up Downtown

Changing Tampa's Economic DNA

FY2013 Recommended Budget

Mayor Buckhorn delivered the recommended budget for fiscal year 2013, Changing Tampa's Economic DNA, to Tampa City Council.

There will be two public hearings for the FY2013 budget. The meetings will be on Thursday, September 13, 2012 and Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 5:01 p.m. in City Council Chambers.
