"From the Desk of Mayor Buckhorn" is designed to give citizens greater insight into the Mayor's Office. Every week, Mayor Buckhorn will offer a snippet of what he's currently working on.

"I was very excited to receive a proposal from the Two Red Roses Foundation looking to invest $30 million in our downtown to build a new museum for one of the largest private collections of American Arts and Crafts in our country. The area around Curtis Hixon Park has always been envisioned as the core of arts and culture in our community, and this museum would be a terrific addition."
