Mayor Buckhorn's pirate pants were at hit at Saturday's Gasparilla Parade.

"From the Desk of Mayor Buckhorn" is designed to give citizens greater insight into the Mayor's Office. Every week, Mayor Buckhorn will offer a snippet of what he's currently working on.

"Tampa's busiest event season kicked off with the Gasparilla Children's Parade two weeks ago and another great Gasparilla Invasion and Parade last Saturday. There will be a host of activities over the next six weeks. Come downtown and enjoy it."
