Mayor Buckhorn threw out the first pitch at Tropicana Field this past Friday at the Tampa Bay Rays vs the New York Yankees baseball game.

"From the Desk of Mayor Buckhorn" is designed to give citizens greater insight into the Mayor's Office. Every week, Mayor Buckhorn will offer a snippet of what he's currently working on.

"After throwing out the first pitch at the Rays game, it was evident that I should have started the game! I hope everyone had a safe Memorial Day weekend, and a special thank you to all those who have served or continue to serve."
