Mayor Buckhorn tried out the zip line last week while filming the Mayor's Hour at the Museum of Science and Industry. The show begins airing on Sunday, September 1 at 1 p.m. on CTTV, channel 615 on Bright House Networks and channel 15 on Verizon FIOS.

"From the Desk of Mayor Buckhorn" is designed to give citizens greater insight into the Mayor's Office. Every week, Mayor Buckhorn will offer a snippet of what he's currently working on.

"Last week, the economic impact report showed that hosting the RNC added up to a more than $400 million benefit to the area. On top of that, Council has approved two new residential towers that will bring in new investment and over 1,000 new residents into our urban core. It’s an exciting time to be in Tampa."
