The list of cool and innovative restaurants in Tampa is getting longer. In Seminole Heights, the Bourgeois Pig, Fodder and Shine, Angry Chair Brewery, and Rooster & The Till are all set to open over the next year.

10/23: Tampa Tribune: Delegation from French sister city visits Tampa
While Mayor Buckhorn and a local delegation traveled to Brazil last week, a French delegation representing our Sister City Le Havre came to Tampa. Mayor Buckhorn and Tampa officials have recently traveled to Ashdod, Israel and Barranquilla, Colombia, both Sister Cities of Tampa.

10/23: ABC Action News: Multi-million dollar Tampa Heights project awaits crucial vote
The $350 million Heights redevelopment project faces a rezoning vote by Tampa City Council on Thursday, November 7. The project will bring new commercial, retail, and residential development to Tampa Heights. As part of the project, the developers plan to extend the Tampa Riverwalk to connect with the new Water Works Park and Ulele restaurant as well as downtown and the Channel District.
   
10/25: WTSP: Mayor Bob Buckhorn signs new Sister City agreement with Porto Alegre, Brazil

During his trip to Brazil, Mayor Buckhorn signed a new Sister City agreement with Porto Alegre, Brazil. Porto Alegre is Tampa's ninth Sister City, and the new agreement will provide for cultural, educational, and economic exchange between the two cities.

10/25: Tampa Bay Times: German cruise line AIDA to sail from Tampa
German cruise line AIDA will begin docking at the Port of Tampa in December 2014, and expand it's operations here with a second ship in winter 2015. AIDA cruises joins Carnival, Holland America, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian cruise lines in sailing from the Port of Tampa.
