Changing the Business of Government Changing the Business of Government, a three-year initiative announced by Mayor Pam Iorio in 2007, utilizes an internal Efficiency and Effectiveness Task Force (EETF) . The task force explores innovative ways to save time and money, increase revenue, and improve results. Eleven action teams are aggressively moving forward to implement process and culture changes that will save the City millions of dollars each year. The Best Water in the State
Water Quality Report The results are in. When you turn on the faucet in Tampa, you are getting some of the best water in the state, thanks to the Tampa Water Department. The department produces and distributes a Water Quality Report for analyses performed on its water in the previous calendar year. The report contains information on Tampa’s water sources, how the water is treated, how the water is tested, specific test results for any compounds detected in the water, and other helpful information.  more...

One household on average has three to ten gallons of substances that are considered hazardous. If not stored and disposed of correctly, these chemicals can poison our bodies, drinking water, and air. The Customer Service Center (CSC) allows you to report non-emergency concerns, ask a question or request city services. City staff will receive and respond to your request via the Internet. This service also allows you to track your request as it progresses through city government.
