Tampa's 2009 Water Quality Report is Now Available

The results are in. When you turn on the faucet in Tampa you are getting some of the best water in the state, thanks to the Tampa Water Department.

Annually, the Tampa Water Department produces and distributes a Water Quality Report for analyses performed on its water in the previous calendar year. The report contains information on Tampa's water sources, how the water is treated, how the water is tested, specific test results for any compounds detected in Tampa's water and other helpful information. Beginning Monday, June 7, 2010, the City of Tampa Department of Solid Waste and Environmental Program Management will have new days for residential collection services.

Reduced Park Fee Application

New fees are now in effect for our Summer Program. We want every child to have an opportunity to participate in our recreation programs and are offering families a multi-child discount. Further discounts are available based on income. Download the Application for Reduced Fees Packet (PDF).


Changing the Business of Governement

On February 22, 2010, Mayor Pam Iorio shared highlights of the Efficiency and Effectiveness Task Force (EETF) program with City Council members that have resulted in a net impact of more than $16 million dollars to date.
