DINE Tampa Bay Restaurant Week is a two-week dining event that gives local foodies and visitors to Tampa Bay the opportunity to enjoy a selection of specially priced three-course meals from some of the Tampa Bay area’s finest restaurants during the event. The 2011 event will be held Friday, August 19th – Friday, September 2nd, 2011

Presented by Tampa Bay & Company and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, DINE Tampa Bay has been designed to stimulate business and introduce new customers to restaurants located throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Who participates?
While participation figures aren’t available for DINE Tampa Bay 2010, 60 restaurants participated in 2010. Of 25- to 39-year olds, 96 percent have dined out in the past 30 days. 
The website had 3,062 visits for the month of June (leading up to marketing efforts). During the promotion last year, the number of website visitors reached 70,000 in August 2010.
Your restaurant would be listed on’s Restaurant Week with e-mails to thousands of users interested in eating in the Tampa Bay area.
What do restaurants have to do?
Agree to offer a three-course prix fixe dinner menu for $25, $30 or $35 from August 19 through September 2.
Diners can find you on the event web site, which lists prix fixe menus, maps, reservation information, restaurant description, chef bios, featured recipes + more.
What’s in it for me? How can my restaurant benefit?
DINE Tampa Bay promotion will reach more than 236,000 readers in the Bay area. Dine Tampa Bay is placing advertisements on website, outdoor advertising, TV + radio spots and will be pitching editorial coverage promoting the event. Restaurants receive point-of-purchase materials (posters, check presenters, brochures + more) to let diners know they’re participating.
DINE Tampa Bay is supported by a comprehensive regional marketing campaign:
- Contests for diners, servers and restaurant managers 
- Online exposure through Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Foodspotting + more 
The sooner you sign up, the more advance promotion you’ll get.
The deadline to be included in print ads has passed, but Dine Tampa Bay is placing advertisements in St. Pete Times, tbt*, Tampa Bay Magazine, Tampa Bay Parenting, AAA Going Places Magazine, among others.

Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Member and/or Tampa Bay & Company Partner - $200
Any restaurant - $600
