  8/1/11 The Mayor's Hour: USF CAMLS

Mayor Bob Buckhorn and 970 Radio Personality Jack Harris visit USF Health to talk about the new USF Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) under construction in downtown Tampa. Discussion includes how CAMLS will have a global impact on the way medicine is taught and create more economic opportunity in Tampa.   7/29/11 Operation Summer Heat wraps up with 186 warrants cleared
  Operation Summer Heat, Mayor Buckhorn's warrant-round up initiative, wrapped up with 186 warrants cleared and 156 felons tracked down or arrested. The remaining warrants will now be assigned to Tampa Police Districts for the next stage of the operation. The arrests include: attempted murder, robbery cases, felony battery and more.
  7/28/11 Mayor Buckhorn proposes FY2012 budget

  7/27/11 Berns Park officially re-opens
  Mayor Buckhorn was joined by the Laxer family and Tampa City Council for the grand re-opening of Berns Park. The park has undergone improvements with the help of community fundraising efforts and volunteer labor. Special thanks to Historic Hyde Park Neighborhood Assn., Bayshore Garden Neighborhood Assn., Hyde Park Preservation Inc, the Laxer Family and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful. Read more
