Public Hearings for FY2012 Budget

There will be two public hearings for the FY2012 budget. The meetings will be on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 and Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Both meetings are set to begin at 5:01 p.m. and will be held in Council Chambers, located on the third floor of City Hall, 315 East Kennedy Boulevard.


District Extends Water Restrictions

Economic Competitiveness Committee

Mayor Bob Buckhorn has announced the formation of the Economic Competitiveness Committee. The 19 member group will be tasked with reviewing the City of Tampa’s permitting and regulatory processes to look for ways to improve the system. Buckhorn chose members that are actual customers, including developers, engineers, attorneys, and a neighborhood representative, that have utilized the City’s services.
