  10/21/11 Top Story: Mayor Buckhorn signs panhandling ordinance into law
  The Mayor crossed another major item off his to do list Friday when he signed Tampa's panhandling ordinance. The six day ban prohibits panhandling every day except Sunday. The top ten most dangerous intersections will be off limits all seven days of the week. Newspaper sales will still be permitted. The ban goes into effect on November 1.
  10/24/11 Mayor’s Food Truck Fiesta lineup announced
  If you haven't heard, the Mayor will be hosting a lunchtime Food Truck Fiesta downtown on the first Wednesday of every month. The inaugural event will be November 2 at Lykes Gaslight Park. Check out the November truck line-up.
  10/22/11 Community input and partnerships produce a new playground in VM Ybor
  Mayor Buckhorn cut the ribbon Saturday on Tampa’s newest playground. In partnership with KaBoom! , a national non-profit organization whose mission is to create great play spaces, the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department and community volunteers worked to build a playground in Cuscaden Park that the children residing in the surrounding VM Ybor neighborhood helped design.
