November Ybor City Marketing & Promotion Campaign:
An Ybor City “Staycation” Package

In November, YCDC marketing contractor Mercury Productions is working on a “staycation” promotion theme.  The Hilton Garden Inn, Don Vicente de Ybor Inn and Hampton Inn have each committed to providing a two-night stay for the promotion. Now we need restaurants, coffee shops and entertainment venues to help create a fun and memorable experience for the contest winners.

For the three prize packages, we’re requesting:

·         6 gift cards valued at $75 to be used for dinner

·         6 gift cards valued at $30 to be used for lunch

·       Gift cards for entertainment, coffee, shopping etc. Since the hotel nights do not need to be used on a specific date, we need generic “two tickets” for entertainment venues.

Breakfast will be provided by the hotels. Gift cards must be good for at least 6 months from date of issue.

Mercury has secured a Tampa Bay radio partner to help make the Ybor City “staycation” contest a success. The promotion will be supported by radio and online ads, and drive listeners/viewers to www.YborCityOnline.com to register.

Merchants supporting the contest will have their name and logo on the promotion page of www.YborCityOnline.com and be identified in the radio promotion copy. One winner will be named each week during the three-week promotion.

There is no cost (beyond the gift card) to Ybor City establishments to participate. The opportunity is available to Ybor City merchants on a first come basis, and the deadline is Wednesday, November 2nd.  Good Living Tampa Bay, a free bi-monthly magazine and website, is planning to run an Ybor City gift guide for the holidays. If you have a product that would make a unique gift for the holidays, please let us know.
