TampaGov Web Site Redesigned, Including a New Home Page
The ninth generation of the home page was introduced as TampaGov was re-engineered to provide uniform access areas for not only the portal itself, but also for all City departments. New information categories were established across the enterprise for About Us, Contact Us, Frequently Asked Questions, Information Resources, News and Events; and Programs and Services. New department specific page headings were created, with both daytime and nighttime views.

Prepare for Emergencies with CERT Training
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a program that trains citizens how to be prepared for and respond to emergencies that may arise in their community. In the event of a major disaster such as a hurricane, emergency services personnel can initially become overwhelmed leaving citizens on their own. CERT training enables citizens to help themselves and their neighbors by applying basic response and organizational skills during an emergency. CERT members can also serve as first responders to an emergency until professional emergency services arrive. www.TampaGov.net/CERT
