City of Tampa Introduces Redesigned WebsiteTampaGov.net Redesign

The City of Tampa has launched a new look for its website www.tampagov.net. Some of the improvements incorporated into the redesign are a new interactive map service and streamlined information, as well as enhanced search and menu options. The site now has integrated social networking facilities throughout, including the Foursquare heat map, which is being utilized in the downtown Master Plan. Tampa Police Launch Crime Mapping Website

The Tampa Police Department has teamed up with RAIDS Online to provide easy to read crime maps and analysis to allow Tampa residents a first-hand look at crimes in our city. RAIDS Online displays crime data to the public using Google Maps' well-known mapping interface. All the user has to do is type in their address, select the date and crimes they'd like to monitor and the information is provided on the map. More...
