- Community Affairs General Services
Use this service for general correspondence to Community Affairs. The Community Affairs section is responsible for the planning, administration and coordination of programs, projects and activities that are designed to promote and maintain good relations among the citizens of Tampa.
- Community Awareness & Action Team (CAAT)
Use this service to contact the Community Awareness Action Team coordinator. The CAAT Team consists of citizens who are concerned about potential unrest in their neighborhoods. The team meets periodically to keep abreast of such topics as gang violence, potential racial tension, and civil disorder within the city and county.
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Advisory Committee
Use this service to contact the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee coordinator. The CDBG Advisory Committee is a volunteer group of citizens, which represents the entire city. The members make recommendations to the City each year, based on the needs of the various neighborhoods. City department heads consider these recommendations as they prepare the annual budget, which is presented to City Council for approval.

Use this service to determine if an employment concern falls under the protection of the Human Rights Ordinance which protects persons from being discriminated against within the Tampa city limits because of their race, sex, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, color, sexual orientation, or familial status.
- Discrimination/Housing
Use this service to determine if a housing concern falls under the protection of the Human Rights Ordinance which protects persons from being discriminated against within the Tampa city limits because of their race, sex, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, color, sexual orientation, or familial status and restricts you from living where you choose.
- Discrimination/Public Accommodations
Use this service to determine if a public accommodation concern falls under the protection of the Human Rights Ordinance which protects persons from being discriminated against within the Tampa city limits because of their race, sex, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, color, sexual orientation, or familial status.
- Tampa/Hillsborough County Human Rights Council
Use this service to contact the Tampa/Hillsborough County Human Rights Council coordinator. The office coordinates the Human Rights Council, which is an organization that brings together citizens of various backgrounds. They all have one thing in common: a desire to promote the human rights of all individuals, as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the United Nations in 1948. The group hosts an awards celebration each December.
- Tampa/Hillsborough County Youth Council
Use this service to contact the Tampa/Hillsborough County Youth Council coordinator. The Youth Council is an organization of public and private high school students that meets regularly during the school year, to address concerns in such areas as education, criminal justice, family life/social issues, leisure activities and government.
Membership is open to high school students throughout the county. The Council has an executive board and an advisory committee.
