Description
This project provides for the refinishing of wood floors and painting projects at various city facilities on an as-needed basis. The expansion of recreational facilities to include gymnasiums has significantly increased the quantity of wood floors maintained by the department. Yearly treatment of floors prolongs the life of both the flooring material and court striping. Work must be sequenced and scheduled to minimize disruption to scheduled activities at the facilities. Many of the buildings and shelters within the parks and recreation system are in need of painting to improve their overall appearance and to prolong the life of the facility.
