Description
This project provides for the replacement of deteriorated and inefficient lighting with high efficiency lighting that will reduce electrical usage by 55% in several city parking garages. Existing fixtures have exceeded their useful lives and parts are becoming more difficult and costly to obtain. Work will be sequenced and scheduled to minimize impact to ongoing operations. The city applied for an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to fund this project.
