Palma Ceia

 printer friendly

Many Tampa historians have speculated upon the origin of the name "Palma Ceia." Perhaps it was originally said to be the "seat" or "base" of the Palm, or "Palma Silla" by early Spanish speaking settlers. Palma Ceia exists today as one of Tampa's highly sought after communities.

The antique red brick roads shaded by enormous oaks and a wide range of housing designs and price ranges exist in Palma Ceia. This has helped maintain consistent appeal to Tampa residents since the early 1920's.
