South Seminole Heights is a neighborhood of approximately 1,250 homes. The residential homes range from the 1920 bungalows, to ranch style homes of the 50s and 60s, to modern day construction.
There are also several churches, a post office, an elementary school and many types of businesses along three of the borders. The businesses range from used car lots to art studios/galleries, and restaurants.
This is a neighborhood of many beautiful trees and includes a cobblestone street. The most prominent feature of the neighborhood is Rivercrest Park running along much of the Hillsborough River as it winds its way from Hillsborough Avenue to Martin Luther King Boulevard.
