(031) $21.69 - $30.85 an hour     $45,115.20 - $64,168.00 a year

(030) $20.87 - $29.62 an hour. $43,409.60 - $61,609.60
(029) $20.01 - $28.54 an hour. $41,620.80 - $59,363.20
(028) $19.27 - $27.41 an hour. $40,081.60 - $57,012.80

PAY BASED ON SKILL LEVEL.

JOB CODE: 333100

JOB PURPOSE: The selected candidate will be responsible for work involving instrumentation maintenance of automation systems and of the host control computer network at Tampa Water Production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


DESIRED KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited high school or vocational school, supplemented by course work in instrumentation and control systems, including basic electrical skills, and three (3) years progressively responsible related experience in installation, maintenance, and calibration of industrial electric or pneumatic electronic control systems; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s license; certification in Basic Electrical Skills and Level 1 and 2 I & C Skills per Tampa Water Department training program or ability to obtain within 18 months.

EXAMINATION: Evaluation of training and experience. Drug testing is included in all pre-employment processing. Selected applicant must pass a federal background check for Port of Tampa access.
