Purpose

Mayor, 7 Councilmembers; 4 Councilmembers must reside in their district; 3 are at-large. Election held every four (4) years. Election was held in March of 2003. New officers took their seats on April 1, 2003 for a four-year term. Mayor and Council may serve only two terms. See the City Charter And Related Laws, 2.02, Art III, Elections.
