INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 7/1/2013 at 11:47 PM

LOCATION: Papa John’s Pizza, 512 East Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa

SUSPECT #1: B/M, apprx. 5’10’- 6’tall, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, red bandana, black gloves, black athletic shorts with yellow accents, white socks and white tennis shoes.

SUSPECT #2: B/M, apprx. 5’10”- 6’ tall, armed with a gun, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black hat with a straight red brim, red letters and a gold decal, light colored gloves, dark pants, gray or blue bandana and dark shoes.

DETAILS:

Tampa Police officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who robbed a Papa John’s Pizza business at gunpoint. The suspects entered the store through the front door and started demanding cash. The suspect who is seen wearing a black hat in the surveillance video (Suspect #2) pointed a gun at one of the employees. He grabbed the victim by the arm and pulled him to the back of the business. The two suspects approached another employee and forced the female victim to open the registers and safe. The suspects stole money out of the cash registers and then fled the business on foot once they realized the employee could not access the safe.

None of the employees were injured during the robbery.
