July 24, 2013 - Through August 15, Tampa Bay Water wants to hear your opinions about potential future water supply projects for the region in their online survey. The regional wholesale water supplier is soliciting public input on evaluation criteria, potential projects and other elements of their Long-Term Master Water Plan.
The Tampa Bay Water Long-Term Master Water Plan is a 20-year plan that identifies potential water supply projects that could be designed and built to meet future drinking water needs for the region. The plan undergoes review and updating every five years, with community input as an important part of updating the plan.
Tampa Bay Water is the state's largest wholesale water supplier, providing water to Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties and the cities of New Port Richey, St. Petersburg and Tampa. More than 2.3 million people throughout the Tampa Bay region are served through Tampa Bay Water's member governments.
