Unidentified Suspect Steals Money and Laptop from Daycare Center
 
Tampa, FL November 14, 2013 -
Anyone with information about the suspect who committed this burglary is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477) or text "CSTB plus your tip" to 274637 (CRIMES).  Anonymous tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash.

DATE/TIME: November 12, 2013 at 9:13 p.m.

LOCATION: Achievement Center for Early Learning, 4601 Busch Boulevard, Tampa

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: 20-25 years old B/M with facial hair, 5'8''-5'10,'' approximately 170 pounds, wearing a red baseball hat, black t-shirt, black jeans and white Nike Air Force Ones sneakers.

DETAILS:

Tampa Police officers are working to identify a suspect who broke into a local daycare on November 12. Shortly after 9 p.m., the suspect shattered a window on the east side of the building to get inside of the child care center. He is seen on video surveillance walking through the business and into an office area where he spent several minutes rummaging through desk drawers and trying to pry open a safe. The suspect stole a laptop and a cash deposit box containing $30 that he found inside one of the drawers. He was unable to open the safe. As he was leaving the daycare, he took a book bag from the children’s play area and used it to hide the items he stole.
