Tampa, FL April 4, 2014 - On this episode of City of Tampa Television's (CTTV) Spotlight Tampa, we visit the Mayor's River O'Green Fest in beautiful Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park to watch the Hillsborough River turn just the right shade for the occasion. The American Lung Association’s “Fight for Air Climb” saw both firefighters and civilians climb forty-one flights of stairs while wearing fifty pounds of firefighting gear, all for a worthwhile cause. Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo offers guests a special visit from some very outgoing sea lions. We get an update on the Encore project that spans twelve blocks and forty plus acres. The Patel Conservatory at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts has become a destination for some of the best upcoming young dance talent in America thanks to the training at Next Generation Ballet. And the weather is ideal for another Mayor’s Food Truck Fiesta.
