City of Tampa - Storm Update #3
May 2, 2014 - Residents should report all flooding issues 24/7 by calling (813) 274-3101; to report any tree limbs blocking the right of way, please call (813) 274-5744.

Due high flows associated with the storm, there was an equipment failure at the Curran Wastewater Plant, which led to a sewage overflow. Crews have already resolved the issue. As a precautionary measure, the Wastewater Department advises no fishing or swimming in Seddon Channel for the next 48 hours.

The Red Cross has opened a shelter for any residents displaced by the storm. It is open to the public.  The shelter is located at 8718 N. 46th Street in the north Tampa area.
