| Tampa receives Florida City and County Management Association Award |

May 16, 2003 - Tampa was recognized with an Award for Innovation in Communications & Technology from the Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA). The award presentation occurred May 16, 2003 at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Daytona Beach during the 57th FCCMA Annual Conference.
The nomination was sent by Dr. Joseph McCann from the University of Tampa, which was based on TampaGov's recognition as the best local government web site in the country. The award was for the over 50,000 in population category.
