| Mayor To Host Third Regional Town Hall Meeting

August 3, 2005 - Mayor Pam Iorio will host a town hall meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2005. The meeting will take place at Middleton High School, located at 4801 N. 22nd Street.
This is the third in a series of four regional town hall meetings the mayor will host in 2005. The meeting will focus on providing information pertaining to the following neighborhoods: College Hill, Davis Islands, Downtown Tampa, East Tampa, East Ybor, Florence Villa/Beasley, Galloway, Grant Park, Harbour Island, Highland Pines, Historic Ybor, Northview Hills, Oak Park, Old Seminole Heights, Palmetto Beach, Ridgewood Park, Riverside Heights, South Nebraska, South Seminole Heights, Southeast Seminole Heights, Tampa Heights, Channel District, V.M. Ybor, Wellswood and Ybor Heights.
The regional town hall meetings are being held in an effort to bring city government closer to Tampa's citizens. Mayor Iorio will talk about the city’s strategic goals, projects and initiatives. City administrators and department representatives will be available to answer questions on a variety of topics and the meetings are open to the general public.
