| Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council to Present Public Forum |

Tampa, FL May 12, 2008 - The Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council will host a public forum on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Iglesia de Dios La Senda Antigua, located at 4810 North Howard Avenue. An information expo will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a panel discussion from 7 to 9 p.m. This forum is free and open to the public.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss issues and answer questions on topics such as Hispanic services, immigration, and access to health and housing assistance. City representatives will be available to provide information on new projects, emergency preparedness and programs for Tampa residents. The public forum is organized in an effort to make city government more accessible to Tampa’s Hispanic community.
