Basic Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training Class
September 23, 2008 - The Basic CERT Training Class beginning Saturday, October 18, 2008 is now full. People who are still interested can sign up to be placed on the waiting list. The next class will most likely be held in January. We will notify people on the waiting list once a firm date has been determined, and will post the information in News and Notices and on the CERT calendar.

To have your name place on the waiting list, please fill out our  registration form.

The purpose of the course is to provide citizens with the basic skills needed during a major disaster. This training will allow graduates to respond to the immediate needs of their community in the aftermath of a major disaster - the time when emergency services may not be immediately available.

All training materials are provided free of charge. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early the first night in order to fill out the necessary paperwork. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Refer to our web pages for more information about the Basic CERT Training class, frequently asked questions or for general information.
