| No Major Incidents Reported During 2009 Guavaween |

Tampa, FL November 2, 2009 - On Saturday October 31st 2009 (Halloween), Guavaween was held in Historic Ybor City. The Tampa Police Department, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, State Alcohol Tobacco and Beverage, and Tampa Fire Rescue redirected their resources so that this event would be safe and successful for all those that attended and worked it.
The event was a success with no major incidents to report. Early estimates on attendance are approximately 12,500 to 15,000. Twenty-eight subjects were arrested during the event and the majority of the arrests were for possession of alcohol by a subject under 21.
