November 11, 2009 - Each week the Tampa Water Department posts a different water conservation "Tip of the Week" to help you reduce your water use and conserve our limited water resources.
Tip #52: Encourage your employer to promote water conservation in the workplace. Use free Water Efficiency Checklists designed for industrial, commercial and institutional facilities to help identify potential water-saving adjustments. As an added bonus, water savings often bring energy savings, too.

Tampa is experiencing a water shortage as a result of below normal rainfall and decreased regional supply availability. Please do your part to help our community by avoiding unnecessary and wasteful water use. Water use violations may be reported 24/7 by calling the Water Use Violation Hotline at (813) 274-8036 and leaving a detailed message. Please report any broken water lines or hydrants by calling Water Triage at (813) 274-7400.
