Tampa Police investigating Attempted Homicide
 
Tampa, FL November 12, 2009 -


Location: 201 N. 26th St. (In front of a vacant building on the sidewalk)

Date/Time: 11-11-09, 5:37 p.m.

Victim: B/M, 17 years old.

Suspect #1 - H/M, 17-21 years old, Last seen wearing a red shirt and black jeans. This suspect was also walking a white Pit Bull puppy.

Suspect #2 - H/M, Last seen wearing a black shirt.
No other information is available on the suspects at this time.

Suspect Vehicle: Unknown.

Details: Tampa Police received a call stating that someone had been shot at the listed location. When police arrived, they found the victim lying on the sidewalk in front of 201 N. 26th St. The victim had sustained two gunshot wounds to the chest. According to the victim, he was approached by two unknown hispanic males and one of them shot him. The suspects then fled eastbound on foot. The victim was transported to Tampa General Hospital by Fire Rescue, where he is currently in surgery and listed in serious condition.

Tampa Police Homicide Detectives are investigating this incident.
