| Tampa Police Investigate Fatal Crash Involving A Pedestrian |

Location: E. Hillsborough Ave. and N.34th St.
Date/Time: 11/15/09, 12:09 a.m.
Pedestrian Victim: Unknown Hispanic Male, Middle Aged, Next of kin has not been notified.
Driver of Vehicle #1- B/M, Harold Darrell Barrett DOB: 6/17/70, ADD: 6415 Shadowbrook Ln., Lakeland, Fl 33813, operating a 1995 Lexus, 4 door, Gray in color, Fl tag H123GK
Driver of Vehicle #2- B/M, Willie Davis Jr., DOB: 5/4/63, ADD: 7621 Savannah Ln., Tampa, Fl 33637, operating a 1990 Acura Legend, Red in color, Fl tag UHW9J
Driver of vehicle #3- Unknown, vehicle described as being white in color.
Details: The driver of the 1995 Lexus, was traveling eastbound on E. Hillsborough Ave., in the middle lane of travel, when the pedestrian attempted to cross E. Hillsborough Ave., from the south side of the street, against the crosswalk sign. Mr. Barrett did not observe the pedestrain and subsequently struck the pedestrian with the right front of his vehicle, which caused the victim to also strike his windshield. The driver of vehicle #2, was traveling in the same direction, failed to observe the pedestrain and also struck him. The pedestrian was also struck by a third vehicle, but this driver failed to stop at the scene of the accident.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by Fire Rescue. There are no charges at this time.
TPD Detectives are also investigating the accident.
