Members from the Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Watch and the Seminole Heights Foundation, Incorporated will present Cleveland Elementary with a $600 donation from the newly created Jane Castor Academic Fund. The school is the first to receive a donation from the fund, which was established to recognize Police Chief Jane Castor for her commitment to promoting education as a tool to help kids make good choices that will steer them away from criminal activity. Chief Castor along with Seminole Heights residents will present the check to the school’s principal, Peter Russo on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 10:30 AM during the Great American Teach-In.
