Tampa, FL November 19, 2009 -
Suspect: Gladiesha Foster, B/F, 4/5/90, 11314 North. 52nd Street, Apt. 13B
Charges: Aggravated Child Abuse
Victim: 20-month-old, B/M
Incident Time: 11/18/09, 12:50 p.m.
Details: The suspect intentionally placed the baby in the bathtub with hot running water until the victim received 2nd degree burns on both feet and buttocks. The burns were described by doctors at Tampa General Hospital as extreme 2nd degree burns. The suspect said she was the Godmother of the baby and she was babysitting. She is also a family friend. Detectives Mike Ruiz and Ruth Cate arrested the suspect at 6:30 p.m. after a several hour investigation.
