Mayor Pam Iorio Gives Officer Andrea Law an Official Tampa Police Badge
Andrea M. Law, B/F, DOB: 1/21/73, Hired by TPD: 5/21/2007 Andrea is currently working as a School Resource Officer at Stewart Middle School. She became an SRO in October of 2009. Prior to this assignment, Officer Law worked in Patrol.
A Tampa Police Officer who was vacationing in Cozumel, Mexico was critically injured in a car accident. The 36-year old female officer was flown by Air Medical to Tampa International Airport this morning. She arrived just after 9:00a.m. Tampa General Hospital's Aeromed was waiting and flew her to the hospital where she is in surgery. The Tampa Police Department is tracking down her immediate family members who live out of state before releasing her name. We are also working with Mexican officals to learn the details of the accident. We do not know when or how the crash occurred or who she was traveling with.
