Tampa, FL February 2, 2010 - This month the Tampa Museum of Art (TMA) opens its doors downtown to a community anxious to enjoy a richer art experience than has ever been possible in Tampa. On February’s episode of The Mayor’s Hour, Mayor Pam Iorio and 970 Radio Personality Jack Harris tour several of the wonderful exhibits within TMA’s galleries, including the first major exhibit by Henri Matisse to ever come to the Tampa Bay area. Guests on the program include Executive Director Todd Smith and Deputy Director of Programming Dawn Johnson. Viewers will learn more about the programs, the collections, the facility and the people responsible for bringing it all to Tampa.
The show debuts on Monday, February 8th at 7pm on City of Tampa Television (CTTV), Channel 15 on Verizon FiOS and Channel 615 on Bright House Networks. Replay times for The Mayor’s Hour are Sundays at 1pm, Mondays at 7pm, Tuesdays at noon, Wednesdays at 9pm, Fridays at 3pm and Saturdays at noon.
