July 13, 2011 - St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and the Hillsborough Water Safety Team will be a Cyrus Greene Pool on Saturday, July 23 for Safe Kids Splash into Summer for a free water-safety festival for children and adults.
The aim of Safe Kids Splash into Summer is to raise parents' awareness about water safety rules and drowning prevention. In addition to educational materials and information everyone attending the festival will receive string backpacks and water watcher whistles. Free Infant, Child, and Adult CPR class information will also be available for those who qualify.
Safe Kids Splash into Summer takes place from 1 - 3 p.m. on July 23 at the Cyrus Greene Pool, located at 2101 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

Safe Kids Splash into Summer is made possible with the support of the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, and Hillsborough Water Safety Team. It is funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County.
