Tampa, FL September 28, 2011 - On CTTV’s Spotlight Tampa, Mayor Buckhorn reached out to Tampa residents during his first official Facebook Town Hall meeting. A new code enforcement initiative, Operation WIN, coordinates neighborhood clean-up efforts. Evangeline Best, Chair of the East Tampa Community Revitalization Partnership, talks about working with city government and the future of East Tampa. Supporters attended a ceremony that renamed the Woodlawn Terrace Community Center after former Tampa City Council member, Gwen Miller. We learn from the Minority Business Development Office about the process of gaining equal access to City contracts. The Hillsborough County Extension Service Office tells residents about some of the services they offer.
