Tampa, FL June 21, 2012 -
The city is asking Tampa residents and business owners to submit videos that convey what is special about their neighborhood and showcase ideas for their community’s future. Every video will help, as the InVision Tampa team creates a master plan for the City Center of Tampa, spanning from downtown to Ybor City on the east, Armenia Avenue on the west, and north along historic Nebraska Avenue to Hillsborough Avenue.
Prizes, including lunch with Mayor Bob Buckhorn, will be awarded to the videos with the most views. There are no length requirements or restrictions and instructions can be found on the InVision Tampa Facebook page.
Residents and business owners of all ages are welcome to participate. Group videos will also be accepted.
The contest will launch June 20 and run until July 30.
Participants can send their YouTube video link to InVisionTampa@gmail.com. More information and sample videos can be found at www.Facebook.com/InVisionTampa.
