Tampa, FL June 28, 2012 - The residential garbage collection schedule for City of Tampa Solid Waste customers will not be affected by the Independence Day Holiday on July 4, 2012. Residential services will run as normal.
The Independence Day collection schedule for the Department of Solid Waste and Environmental Program Management’s remaining services is as follows:
Commercial services will run one day late through Saturday, July 7, 2012. Normal schedules will resume on July 9, 2012.
McKay Bay Transfer Station/Scale House will be closed on the Independence Day Holiday and re-open Thursday, July 5, 2012.
