Tampa, FL June 29, 2012 - Both directions of East Sligh Avenue will be closed between North 22nd and 24th streets beginning at 3:30 p.m. today for Tampa Water Department crews to repair a broken water main. Marked local detours will in place for all traffic approaching this intersection.
Repairs are expected to be completed by late Saturday, June 30. Normal traffic patterns are expected to resume by 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, following road restoration, depending on weather conditions. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should seek alternate routes during this period. Please use caution when traveling in the area.
