Tampa, FL July 27, 2012 - Tampa Police Detectives Investigating a Death
WHEN: 07/27/2012 @ 4:31 a.m.
WHERE: 8425 Del Ray Court, Apartment #1, Tampa
VICTIM: James Ralph Sanders, DOB: 10/19/1943, W/M, 8425 Del Ray Court, Apartment #1, Tampa
DETAILS: Tampa Police Officers and Tampa Fire Rescue responded to the listed apartment for an injured elderly male who was on the floor and could not get to the door. TPD and TFR made forced entry into the apartment shortly after 4:31 a.m. this morning. The victim was transported to Tampa General Hospital and later died at the hospital from his injuries. The victim was located with upper body trauma and homicide detectives are working to determine if those injuries were accidental or if a crime has occurred. The investigation is on-going at this time.
