Tampa, FL August 6, 2012 - Tampa Police Investigates Traffic Fatality
WHEN: 8/6/12, 1:58 a.m.
WHERE: North Nebraska Avenue / East 26th Avenue
VEHICLE: 1995 Acura Sedan, Silver in color
DRIVER: George T. Daniels, DOB: 08/18/64, B/M, 2417 East Northbay Avenue, Tampa
DETAILS:
Daniels was traveling northbound on Nebraska Avenue, at an apparent high rate of speed, when he struck the median and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle subsequently struck an electric pole. Daniels was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. Next of kin has been notified. Tampa Police detectives responded to the scene and are following up on the cause of the accident. Investigation continues at this time.
