Tampa, FL August 17, 2012 -
WHAT:
Mayor Bob Buckhorn will open the RNC Call Center on Monday morning and greet city staff who will oversee operations.
The RNC Call Center number is (866) 762-8687, and is toll-free.
The RNC Call Center will be activated 8 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2012 and will be deactivated at noon on Friday, August 31, 2012. It will be staffed and operational 24 hours a day during that time, and there will be Spanish language speakers available.
The RNC Call Center will provide up to date information on any additional, temporary street closures, downtown parking options, basic directional assistance, and hospitality information for visitors.
