August 20, 2012 - The City of Tampa Office of Emergency Management has asked for an additional resources to assist with food service distribution for the first responders during the RNC. Details on locations and times needed are listed in the attached file. The assignment will be to oversee the scheduled food distribution for the first responders (Fire, Police, EMS) at nine different locations around the city. The food will be delivered and set up by local vendors and the GT CERT members will be there to oversee the distribution. (Count meals and fill out necessary forms and call city contact if there are any issues).
If you are available to support one or more shifts please contact Debra Bogart (yaasmina@verizon.net) by Wednesday, 8/22 and provide your information. Please cc Ani (Ana.Hawes-Verbeek@TampaGov.net) and Brian (bpisaneschi@tampabay.rr.com) on the reply. There are several open slots needed so please consider taking a shift if you are able. Additional information will be sent out via email as it is available.
